Jerusalem, Feb 14 (EFE).- Israel’s latest attacks in the Gaza Strip left up to 103 people dead and 145 wounded, including women and children, in the last 24 hours, the Palestinian authorities said Wednesday.
The Palestinian health ministry, controlled by the extremist group Hamas, said in a statement Wednesday that Israeli troops “committed 11 massacres” against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 103 deaths and 145 injuries over the past 24 hours.
Since the start of the war on Oct. 7, at least 28,576 Palestinians have been killed and 68,291 wounded in the Gaza Strip, it added.
Moreover, it is estimated that many people are dead under the rubble of destroyed buildings and on roads where their bodies are yet to be recovered.
The Israeli army reported on Wednesday of operations carried out these last hours in various parts of Gaza, including the central town of Deir Balah or the city of Khan Younis, to the south, where it said that the troops killed more than a dozen militiamen.
In the meantime, negotiations continue to reach a truce in Gaza in Egypt. Consultations continue in Cairo between Egyptian, Qatari and American teams, after Israeli representatives left the city last night.
