Sports Desk, Jun 22 (EFE).- Portugal reacted, dominated, and defeated Turkey (0-3) in the second half, securing their first place in Group F.

Bernardo Silva opened the scoring in the 21st minute with an unstoppable left-footed shot that beat goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.

The second goal was the unfortunate own goal by Samet Akaydin. Without thinking, he passed it back, not realizing that his goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir, had already moved in the opposite direction toward the ball. Despite running, he couldn’t clear it.

Turkey came out with a little more aggression after half-time, but all in vain, as in the 56th minute, Bruno Fernandes scored the third goal with an assist from Cristiano Ronaldo.
With this result, Portugal takes the lead in Group F, with six points. Turkey is second with three points, two ahead of the Czech Republic and Georgia. EFE
