PSG crushes Inter Miami 4-0 as Bayern outguns Flamengo 4-2 to Club World Cup Quarterfinals

International Desk, Jun 29 (EFE).- Paris Saint-Germain showed no mercy against Inter Miami, securing a dominant 4-0 win in Atlanta.

In Miami, Bayern Munich defeated Flamengo 4-2 in a thrilling battle of attacking soccer.

The Germans scored early: a corner deflected by Erick Pulgar into his net (6’), and Harry Kane fired a powerful shot off the post and in (9’).

Flamengo responded through Gerson (33’), but Bayern struck again before halftime with a long-range rocket from Leon Goretzka (41’).

Jorginho converted a penalty in the 55th minute to bring Flamengo back within one.

However, Bayern sealed the win in the 74th, when Joshua Kimmich found Kane in the box after another midfield steal. The English striker calmly scored his second goal of the night.

Despite the loss, Flamengo impressed with their offensive spirit. But it’s Bayern who moves on to face PSG in a much-anticipated quarterfinal clash. EFE
