Madrid, April 21 (EFE).- Lucas V\u00e1zquez, the right-back for Real Madrid, had an exceptional performance in the 3-2 victory against Barcelona on Sunday. He scored a goal, won a penalty, and provided an assist.<\/p>

V\u00e1zquez highlighted that within the white team, they knew “it was a final for the LaLiga.” They have put themselves on track with an 11-point lead over Barcelona with 18 matches left to play, and they “need to finish it off.”<\/p>

\"MADRID,<\/div>

“We’ve experienced a fantastic night, something we all deserved. We’ve taken a big step towards the League. Despite coming off a big effort, the team gave everything again to achieve this victory that gives us that advantage in the League, making the title closer,” he stated on Real Madrid TV.<\/p>

\"Real<\/div>

“We knew today was a final for the League, that the team needed this victory. We’re all very happy. We just need to finish it off,” he added.<\/p>

In addition, Lucas V\u00e1zquez explained how Real Madrid’s comeback was orchestrated on the field.<\/p>

“With five minutes left, with a free-kick against us, the whole team was talking: let’s go for the goal, let’s win, and that’s what this club, this badge, represents. We always want to win, fight until the end,” he said.<\/p>
