Kyiv, Oct 29 (EFE).- A Russian airstrike on a residential area of \u200b\u200bthe Ukrainian city of Kharkiv killed at least four people and destroyed four houses early Tuesday, the mayor of the city located near the border with Russia said.<\/p>
“At 02:51, the city was hit by a hybrid missile…The result – 4 houses were completely destroyed, another 19 were damaged,” Igor Terekhov said in a post on Telegram. <\/p>
“Four dead. Rescuers searched for them for several hours under the rubble,” he added.<\/p>
“In recent days, the enemy has concentrated specifically on terrorist attacks on Kharkiv – hitting residential buildings, our historical monuments, symbols of the city,” the mayor said, urging citizens to be “very careful” and pay heed to air sirens. <\/p>
Kharkiv, located in the northeast of Ukraine, is the second largest Ukrainian city after the capital, Kyiv, and has been one of the most frequent targets of Russian airstrikes since Russia’s invasion of the country. EFE<\/p>
