Paris, June 8 (EFE). – Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz (ATP #2) won his second Roland Garros on Sunday, after defeating Italy’s Jannik Sinner (ATP #1) by winning the fifth set 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).<\/p>

\"Carlos<\/div>

The match lasted five hours and 29 minutes, making it the longest final in the tournament’s history.<\/p>

Sinner took the first two sets; however, Alcaraz managed to rally and win the next two.<\/p>

\"Jannik<\/div>

The victory was decided in a tight fifth set, which crowned the Spaniard the champion in a final tiebreak.<\/p>

The 22-year-old becomes the youngest player born in the 21st century to win 20 titles, as well as the third youngest to win five Grand Slams. Only the Swede Bj\u00f6rn Borg and Alcaraz’s compatriot Rafa Nadal achieved this feat at a younger age. EFE lmpg\/mcd<\/p>
