Jerusalem, June 14 (EFE).\u2013 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Saturday announced a new wave of airstrikes on Tehran, vowing to target all sites linked to Iran\u2019s ruling regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will hit every target of the ayatollahs\u2019 regime,\u201d Netanyahu declared in a video message released by his office,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have paved the way to Tehran. Very soon, you will see IAF planes above Tehran\u2019s skies, the Israeli Air Force, our pilots flying over the skies of Tehran,\u201d he said.

Netanyahu described Iran as posing a \u201cdouble threat\u201d through its pursuit of nuclear weapons and its development of ballistic missiles.

According to the prime minister, Iran aims to build 20,000 ballistic missiles with the goal of \u201cdestroying the State of Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWe cannot allow them to develop the capacity to produce 20,000 missiles. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve taken action to eliminate it. And that\u2019s exactly what the Israel Defense Forces are doing now,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat they\u2019ve felt so far,\u201d Netanyahu warned, \u201cis nothing compared to what they will feel in the coming days. We are working intensively to eliminate this double threat to Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that Israel has already dealt \u201ca severe blow to Iran\u2019s main research center,\u201d including striking a nuclear conversion facility and the team of scientists leading Iran\u2019s weapons program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis has already been done and could set them back for many years,\u201d he said. \u201cBut there is more we will do\u2014though I cannot share all the details.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Referring to the three people killed in Israel by Iranian missile strikes, Netanyahu urged unity and vigilance. \u201cPrecisely when there are casualties, Israelis must raise the flag. I share the families\u2019 grief and again urge everyone to follow Home Front Command instructions. They save lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Netanyahu also said that world leaders have expressed \u201cdeep admiration\u201d for Israel\u2019s determination and military achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are in a crucial battle for our existence. We will fight until we achieve victory,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel launched its initial strikes on Iran at around 3:00 a.m. Friday, citing advances in Iran\u2019s nuclear program and its growing ballistic missile threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, Israeli forces have targeted a range of Iranian military infrastructure, including air defense systems and missile warehouses, as well as high-ranking members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and nuclear scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Iran\u2019s ambassador to the United Nations, Saeed Iravani, the Israeli attacks have killed 78 people and injured 320 so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Israel, four waves of Iranian missile strikes between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning killed three people in Tel Aviv and injured more than 70. EFE<\/p>\n\n\n\n
