Jerusalem, Jun 16 (EFE).- The Israeli army said Monday that it has already destroyed more than 120 missile launchers from Iran, which it said constitutes a third of the total.<\/p>
Israel started attacking Iran early Friday, bombing military and nuclear targets and killing high-ranking military, scientific and civilian officials.<\/p>
Israeli military spokesperson Effie Defrin said over video conference that its air force has destroyed one-third of the Iranian regime’s missile launchers, numbering more than 120, since the operation began.<\/p>
He added that the previous night alone, Israel destroyed 20 surface-to-surface missiles minutes before they were launched towards Israel.<\/p>
According to military data, Israel overnight used about 50 fighter jets to strike around 100 military targets in Isfahan, in central Iran, including missile warehouses and surface-to-surface missile launchers, among others.<\/p>
More than 200 people have died in Iran due to Israeli airstrikes, whereas on the Israeli side, 24 people have lost their lives in Iranian retaliatory attacks, mostly in cities on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, according to emergency and health services in these countries. EFE <\/p>
