Meanwhile, actors Pedro Pascal, Javier Bardem, and Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas bring strong Hispanic representation to this year\u2019s list of nominees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Severance\u2019, a psychological sci-fi thriller about a company that surgically separates employees\u2019 work and personal memories, will compete for Best Drama Series against major contenders including: \u2018Andor\u2019 (Disney+, 14 nominations), \u2018The White Lotus\u2019 (HBO Max, 23), \u2018The Last of Us\u2019 (HBO Max, 16), \u2018The Diplomat\u2019 (Netflix, 2), \u2018The Pitt\u2019 (HBO Max, 13), \u2018Paradise\u2019 (Hulu, 4), \u2018Slow Horses\u2019 (Apple TV+, 5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show\u2019s leads, Adam Scott and Britt Lower, earned nominations for Best Actor and Actress in a Drama Series. Lower will face off against Bella Ramsey (\u2018The Last of Us\u2019), Keri Russell (\u2018The Diplomat\u2019), Kathy Bates (\u2018Matlock\u2019), and Sharon Horgan (\u2018Bad Sisters\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott will compete against Pedro Pascal (\u2018The Last of Us\u2019), Sterlin K. Brown (\u2018Paradise\u2019), Noah Wyle (\u2018The Pitt\u2019), and Gary Oldman (\u2018Slow Horses\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comedy and limited series categories<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Apple TV+ also dominated the comedy category with \u2018The Studio\u2019, scoring 23 nominations, beating \u2018The Bear\u2019 (FX, 13) and \u2018Hacks\u2019 (Paramount+, 14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comedian Seth Rogen earned his first Emmy nomination for \u2018The Studio\u2019 and will compete with Jeremy Allen White (\u2018The Bear\u2019), Martin Short (\u2018Only Murders in the Building\u2019), Jason Segel (\u2018Shrinking\u2019), and Adam Brody (\u2018Nobody Wants This\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Hispanic presence at the Emmys<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chilean actor Pedro Pascal secured his fourth Emmy nomination, this time for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in \u2018The Last of Us\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanish actor Javier Bardem received his first-ever Emmy nod for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for portraying Jos\u00e9 Men\u00e9ndez in Netflix\u2019s true crime series \u2018Monsters\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will compete against Bill Camp and Peter Sarsgaard (both for \u2018Presumed Innocent\u2019), Rob Delaney (\u2018Dying for Sex\u2019), and Ashley Walters and Owen Cooper (both from \u2018Adolescence\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
