Bangkok, Jul 10 (EFE).- At least two people were killed and several injured after an under construction bridge collapsed on several cars in Bangkok city on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Local media reported the Overpass Bridge flipped over during rush hours with significant traffic in the area, also destroying several cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Videos posted on social media showed the metal and concrete segment of the bridge falling down, leaving a cloud of dust in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Khaosod news portal, the incident took place at a construction site in Lat Krabang, in the east of the Thai capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area for the time being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In May, seven people, including four children, died and 18 were injured after strong winds caused a metal roof on a school\u2019s activity center to collapse in Phichit province, some 300 kilometers north of Bangkok. EFE <\/p>\n\n\n\n
