Lima (EFE).- Os advogados do ex-presidente peruano Pedro Castillo, Ronald Atencio e Ra\u00fal Noblecilla, anunciaram nesta segunda-feira que deixaram a defesa dele em uma decis\u00e3o tomada em conjunto com o pr\u00f3prio pol\u00edtico, mas n\u00e3o revelaram o motivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“Tendo conversado com nosso cliente em conjunto, foi decidido que n\u00e3o vamos continuar a defend\u00ea-lo, guardando entre n\u00f3s as raz\u00f5es para isso”, diz um breve comunicado compartilhado por ambos os advogados em suas contas no Twitter.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Na \u00faltima quinta-feira, o juiz Juan Carlos Checkley, do Tribunal Supremo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Preparat\u00f3ria, ordenou que Castillo fosse mantido em pris\u00e3o preventiva por 18 meses enquanto \u00e9 investigado pelos crimes de rebeli\u00e3o e conspira\u00e7\u00e3o na fracassada tentativa de autogolpe de 7 de dezembro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nem Castillo, que continua a se considerar presidente do Peru, nem nenhum de seus advogados compareceu \u00e0 audi\u00eancia para tentar rever o pedido do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico peruano de 18 meses de pris\u00e3o preventiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No in\u00edcio da audi\u00eancia, convocada por Checkley, foi relatado que Castillo se recusou a receber notifica\u00e7\u00e3o do pedido do promotor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O juiz informou que a defesa do ex-chefe de Estado seria assumida pelo advogado Italo D\u00edaz, nomeado pelo tribunal, j\u00e1 que nenhum dos defensores credenciados por Castillo compareceu \u00e0 audi\u00eancia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“H\u00e1 muitos argumentos que, em conversa com Pedro (Castillo) nos levaram a tomar esta decis\u00e3o”, disse Atencio no Twitter.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Ele e Noblecilla assumiram a defesa exclusiva do ex-presidente em 12 de dezembro, data em que seu antecessor, Miguel P\u00e9rez Arroyo, renunciou devido a “discrep\u00e2ncias na abordagem da defesa”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Benji Expinoza, que era o advogado principal de Castillo e que tomou a decis\u00e3o ap\u00f3s o an\u00fancio do ex-presidente de dissolver o Congresso, tamb\u00e9m renunciou \u00e0 defesa do ex-presidente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Castillo foi preso no dia 7 de dezembro depois de n\u00e3o conseguir emplacar um autogolpe horas depois de anunciar, em uma mensagem \u00e0 na\u00e7\u00e3o, que iria dissolver o Congresso, reorganizar o sistema de justi\u00e7a, convocar uma assembleia constituinte, formar um governo de emerg\u00eancia e governar por decreto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
