Nova York (EFE).- O Google anunciou nesta ter\u00e7a-feira que est\u00e1 abrindo o acesso antecipado a um grupo selecionado de usu\u00e1rios nos Estados Unidos e Reino Unido para interagir com o Bard, o seu chatbot de intelig\u00eancia artificial (IA) e rival tanto do ChatGPT, da OpenAI, como do Bing, da Microsoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Estamos come\u00e7ando a abrir o acesso ao Bard, uma experi\u00eancia inicial que lhe permite colaborar com IA generativa”, anunciou o Google em comunicado, observando que a nova ferramenta n\u00e3o ser\u00e1 um substituto para o seu motor de busca, mas permitir\u00e1 que os usu\u00e1rios do motor de busca “aumentem a sua produtividade, acelerem as suas ideias e alimentem a sua curiosidade”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

A empresa anunciou tamb\u00e9m que os usu\u00e1rios poder\u00e3o se juntar a uma lista de espera em bard.google.com, embora o Google tenha indicado que a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 lenta e ainda n\u00e3o haja uma data para o acesso geral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Aprendemos muito at\u00e9 agora testando o Bard, e o pr\u00f3ximo passo cr\u00edtico para o melhorar \u00e9 obter feedback de mais pessoas”, observa o Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Bard \u00e9 alimentado por Large Language Models (LLMs), ferramentas de intelig\u00eancia artificial que podem ler, resumir e traduzir texto e prever palavras futuras em uma frase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Embora os LLMs sejam uma tecnologia animadora, n\u00e3o est\u00e3o isentos de falhas”, ressalta o comunicado, reconhecendo que o Bard pode fornecer informa\u00e7\u00f5es inexatas, enganosas ou falsas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Assim, segundo a empresa, a melhor forma de “verificar as suas respostas ou explorar as fontes na web” \u00e9 pesquisar no motor de busca Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ao contr\u00e1rio do Bing, o Bard n\u00e3o fornece notas de rodap\u00e9 ou cita\u00e7\u00f5es com as suas respostas, a menos que esteja citando directamente uma fonte, mas d\u00e1 a op\u00e7\u00e3o de procurar a mesma resposta no motor de busca tradicional, clicando em um bot\u00e3o que diz “Google it”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
