Um deles da indon\u00e9sia Lion Air em 2018, no qual morreram 189 pessoas, e outro da et\u00edope Ethiopian Airlines em 2019, no qual 157 pessoas perderam a vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s o primeiro acidente, a companhia e o CEO estavam conscientes de uma fun\u00e7\u00e3o de controle de voo que representava um risco para a seguran\u00e7a da aeronave, mas asseguraram ao p\u00fablico que o avi\u00e3o era &#8220;o mais seguro que j\u00e1 voou&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s o segundo acidente, Boeing e Muilenburg garantiram publicamente que n\u00e3o havia problemas com o processo de certifica\u00e7\u00e3o da mesma fun\u00e7\u00e3o, apesar de possu\u00edrem informa\u00e7\u00f5es que indicavam o contr\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dessa forma, a SEC alega que a empresa e o CEO enganaram os investidores ao garantir que o 737 MAX era seguro, mesmo estando conscientes dos problemas.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pre.efe.com\/pt-br\/\">EFE<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Washington (EFE).-\u00a0A Comiss\u00e3o de Valores Mobili\u00e1rios dos Estados Unidos (SEC, na sigla em ingl\u00eas) multou nesta quinta-feira a fabricante de aeronaves Boeing em US$ 200 milh\u00f5es por ter enganado investidores sobre os acidentes envolvendo os modelos 737 MAX.
