Israeli attacks leave at least 115 Palestinians dead in last 48 hours in Gaza

Jerusalem, Oct 22 (EFE).- At least 115 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the last two days as a result of Israeli attacks, while another 487 were wounded, according to the Hamas-ruled health ministry of Gaza on Tuesday.

With this, 42,718 Palestinians have lost their lives in more than a year of war, of which about 70 percent are women and children, while the number of wounded amounts to 100,282.

These figures do not include about 10,000 bodies that remain under the rubble across Gaza and inaccessible to rescue teams, mainly for security reasons.

Meanwhile, the Gazan authorities regularly stress that more than 12,000 people need to leave the enclave for medical treatment, given the scarcity of resources caused by the Israeli blockade of border crossings. EFE
